On Saturday September 3rd I tried Rock and Vine Cabernet. The producer of this wine is Nine North Wines. This is the first time I have ever had any wines from this particular producer. It was a black appearance. The nose had blackberry, fresh bread, dark chocolate, and raspberry. The nose was very intriguing. The taste is blackberry and dark chocolate. The mouth feel is very lacking. Doesn't coat the palate very well. Its not silky smooth on the palate at all. Very thin and watery. I was seriously disappointed in this wine. I give it a 79 on the rating. I wouldn't recommend this wine to anybody. Its a big pass on this wine.
On a side note I am not sure if I like the name of my blog. I'm thinking about the not so snobby wine snob. Any suggestions? Also send me requests on regions you would like me to rate wines from that your are interested in.
